Israel In Exile & The Ten Lost Tribes   $4.00

One of the great mysteries of Jewish history is the fate of the so called “Ten Lost Tribes”, the tribes that originally seceded from the kingdom of the south, Yehuda (Judea), and formed their own kingdom, Yisrael (Israel) under the leadership of Yeravam ben Nevat. After having experienced independence for some two hundred and fifty years, this northern kingdom, Yisrael, was eventually conquered by Assyria, its populace exiled, and, as a nation, ceased to exist. History is generally silent regarding the personal fate of the exiles. What happened to them after they were exiled? Did they assimilate with the native peoples with whom they lived and, in a sense, disappear or did they, or their descendants eventually reunite with their brethren of the south? Or perhaps do their progeny exist today somewhere upon the face of the earth, isolated from the rest of mankind, but living a full and rich Torah based life? This lecture traces the early history of the ten tribes of Yisrael, the influence that the surrounding pagan cultures had upon them, the places of their exile, and the status of those Jews who claim to be descendants of these tribes.
