With the exception of Israel and Iran, Italian Jewry is probably the oldest continuous Jewish community on earth. The works of their great scholars are studied to this day. Their great poets still are a source of inspiration. This lecture covers one of Jewry's most important communities from its early inception to the dawn of the Rennaissance.
