The Resettlement and Rebuilding of Jerusalem   $5.00

This lecture is the second part of the story of the Kollel Perushim, the community that was created by the disciples of the famed Gaon of Vilna, first in Tzefas, Safed, and later in Jerusalem. Neither plagues, pogroms, severe taxation, or earthquakes were able to deter the members of this community and after almost fifty years of effort, a beautiful synagogue was erected in Jerusalem, the Churva Shul, together with many houses of learning and prayer, the beginnings of what grew into today’s vibrant Torah community in Eretz Yisrael. That story is the subject of this lecture.
